I have had several of these Barefoot blankets in the past! I have absolutely loved them, but this one had a very nasty odor to it! I don’t know of the materials have changed or not but after washing it still did not go away! Not sure if I will want any more at this point in time!

Love the feel of the blanket. But I have washed it three times and still cannot get the ugly smell out! So I probably would not recommend this item. For the price you should not have this problem!

This is the most amazing blanket, and once you have one you will never buy any other kind. It is on the expensive side but 100% worth it. This blanket was on one of Oprah’s favorite things show, and it is definitely one of my favorite things!

I absolutely love this throw. We use it in our living room when we are watching TV or just to wear over our shoulders around the house when we are cold. My husband, two kids and I always race to be the first to get it — though it’s large enough for 2-3 people to get under it. It’s so soft, cozy and warm. I also have the robe, which feels the same. We’ve had the throw for over a year and it has held up great (looks new still)! Recommend!

This blanket is very cozy and warm. Great throw to leave on a sofa or bed. The only complaint is that the material has a funny odor which lessens over time.
